After the crucifixion on the cross, his burial in the tomb, Jesus resurrected and ascended on high to take his place at the right hand of the Father thus fulfilling the prophecy about Jesus Christ. This Easter, after reading the story of the resurrection again in the gospel according to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John; just like the angel asked Mary Magdalene in Luke 24:5 ”why do you seek the living amongst the dead”? ask yourself the following questions this season:
- Just like Mary Magdalene am I a woman looking in the wrong place?
- Just like Mary Magdalene am I expecting to find the dead ?
- Just like Mary Magdalene am I a woman wondering where Jesus is?
- Just like Mary Magdalene am I a woman who cares about the Messiah?
- Just like Mary Magdalene am I a woman thinking and asking why is the tomb empty?
- Just like Mary Magdalene am I a woman who sees the Lord’s angels?
- Just like Mary Magdalene am I a woman listening to the voice of heaven telling me where to find Jesus?
- Just like Mary Magdalene am I a woman who tells anyone who will listen that Jesus is alive?
- Just like Mary Magdalene am I a woman refusing to be discouraged by the disbelief of others about the risen Christ?
- Just like Mary Magdalene am I a woman Jesus has appeared to and is now alive in Christ?
